Charlotte Wildlife Stewards, (formerly CROWN) is a Charlotte Chapter of the North Carolina Wildlife Federation. We feel it's important to have a healthy balance between economic growth and nature. Our programs and events help connect people to the wonders of nature and the importance of creating and preserving healthy habitat for wildlife. Check out our program topics and join us as we educate and engage the citizens of the greater Charlotte community about the benefits of creating wildlife friendly communities.
We are currently offering our programs on line. We will return to in-person programs once Discovery Place Nature remodeling is complete. They will take place the second Tuesday of the month, September through June, with a 6:30pm start time.

- "I Spy....." nature hikes for families with small children
- "Wild on the Water" - our annual fundraiser kayak/canoe tour
- "Kids in Nature Day" - a multi activity and kid-friendly craft day
- Monthly speaker programs on various nature or environmental topics
- Speaker opportunities - we'll speak about backyard wildlife habitats to your group
- Table presentations - we'll table at your program and provide environmental resources
